The HDC Spring Development Program is built for elite, competitive players ready to push their limits and refine their skills in a high-energy, focused environment.
**Please note: This is not a Learn-to-Skate program. Players must have established skating and puck-handling skills.**
Led by Tessa Lowry & Bergen Lucas these sessions ensure consistency, attention to detail, and top-quality instruction throughout all age groups.
Program Focus
Each session delivers a complete hour of development designed to keep players sharp and competing hard:
Power Skating (20-30 minutes) - With and without the puck, focusing on stride power, edge control, and balance.
Puck Control & Skill Stations - Quick hands, tight turns, and smart transitions under pressure.
Small Area Games - Competitive, game-like situations to improve decision-making and hockey IQ.
The goal: Compete. Develop. Dominate.
Schedule- 8 Week Program
Group 1 - 2018 (Elite) & 2017 (Elite)
Tuesdays, starting March 31 (8-week program)
Time: (varies by week)- schedule will be provided - starting as early as 4:30pm
Group 2 - 2016 & 2015
Tuesdays, starting March 31st (8-week program)
Time: (varies by week) schedule will be provided- starting as early as 6pm
Group 3 - 2014/2013
Thursdays, starting April 2nd (8-week program)
Time: (varies by week) schedule will be provided - starting as early as 6pm
