HDC believes that sports, particularly Hockey, provides an opportunity to facilitate the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of our youth. For some families, access to hockey is prohibitive due to its associated costs. HDC’s mission is to remove financial barriers to allow families the opportunity to partake in the sport of Hockey.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The HDC Sports Foundation was created to allow financially constrained families to access funds to help offset the cost of sporting fees. HDC’s Sports Foundation provides subsides for qualifying families who are facing financial barriers to accessing sports.
HDC Sports Foundation provides grants of up to $300 per eligible child, per year (January 1st - December 31st) towards all HDC program registration.
