FUNDAMENTALS

Our Fundamental Skills Programs are designed to improve the foundational skills necessary to play the game of Hockey. We focus on providing each player with the proper technique and mechanics for each of the key fundamental skill areas including;

• skating

• shooting

• passing

• stick-handling

Our drills are designed to maximize development through repetition and continuous corrective action.

At HDC we believe that 3on3 is an effective method to help players quickly improve their skills.  Playing in tight spaces and at a fast pace keeps all the players moving, nobody can afford to simply stand around and wait for the action to come to them. Essential skills like puck control and skating are highlighted and reinforced.
